The MKS anchor-type impeller is a low-speed, radial-flow impeller. Stirring is primarily characterized by horizontal, annular flow. The horizontal and vertical bars at different positions can increase the eddy current near the blades and expand the stirring range. It generally operates under laminar flow conditions and is suitable for low-viscosity liquids with variable levels or the mixing, heat transfer, dissolution, non-uniform mass transfer, and reaction of medium-to-high viscosity fluids.
