The LG screw impeller is an axial flow impeller. Material rises helically along the screw, with some being thrown off the screw and some being lifted to the top to form a downward flow of material, resulting in continuous diffusion and mixing. When a baffle tube is present, it forces the material inside and outside the baffle tube to circulate, providing a mixing effect for high viscosity materials. Suitable for high viscosity mixing, heat transfer, reaction, and dissolution operations.
